INTERACT project "Promonte" evaluates and gathers examples of good practice in using Interreg in mountain area.
Interact is a part of the Community Initiative Interreg. The aim of InterAct is to learn lessons from the experiences of the previous Interreg I and Interreg II programmes and to improve the efficiency of the current Interreg III programmes. The global objective is to develop a pole of experience and know-how on the regional development and the interregional, transnational and cross-border cooperation.
The "Promonte" project will focus on the mountain dimension of the Interreg programmes and projects, and the exchanges between mountain regions on this issue.
11 partners participate in this project coordinated by AEM, European association of elected representatives from Mountain areas.
