Register now: Euromontana’s conference on sustainable active tourism

You did not register to Euromontana’s next conference entitled “Sustainable active tourism – mountain communities leading Europe in finding innovative solutions” yet? Then, you should quickly do it before all seats are occupied. Only four days are left before the deadline for registration will expire on 9th of September. However, as the participants' number is limited we reserve the right to close it before that day if the maximum number of participants is reached.

This conference will be organised in close cooperation with The Highlands Council from 27 to 28 September 2011 in Inverness, Scotland and will be followed by Euromontana’s General Assembly on 28 September in the afternoon.

We also draw your attention to the fact that this year, the General Assembly will review the statutes and adopt a procedure for the election of the Board of Directors for 2012-2016. It is important that a majority of members participates in this General Meeting that will be held on September 28 from 14.00 to 17.00 o’clock. If you will not be nable to participate in the General Assembly, please don’t forget to delegate your voting power to a member who participates.

Several high level speakers are already confirmed such as Paula Cristina Gomes representative of the European Commission - DG Environment, Anton Zimmermann, deputy director of the section “Tourism and historical objectives” within the Austrian Ministry of Economy, Family, Youth, Regula Imhof, Vice-Secretary General of the Alpine Convention and many others.
