Final conference of the mountain.TRIP project
The mountain.TRIP (transforming research into practice) project is coming to an end and the final conference will be organised on 17 November 2011 in Brussels.
mountain.TRIP is a research project funded under the 7th Framework Programme. It has as an objective to transform research results related to sustainable development of mountain areas into useful information that is directly usable by practitioners on the ground. Thus, our objective was to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and practical action...
During the two years of mountain.TRIP, the mountain.TRIP consortium has developed and tested various solutions that can be used to transfer the results produced by research projects to practitioners. The implementation of our work also led us to formulate recommendations for policy-makers, scientists and practitioners. The project’s results can thus contribute to closing the gap between science and practice and we want to share and discuss these outputs with you.
