What are the European Mountain Conventions?
The European Mountain Conventions are the major events for mountain stakeholders in Europe. Euromontana organises this event every two years together with one of its local member organisation in different European mountain regions. High-level and key people are invited to participate and the Conventions attracts up to 400 professionals and stakeholders from various sectors from all Europe –e.g. the European Commission, national ministries, local businesses, universities, and development agencies.
The European Mountain Conventions serve as a platform for networking, exchange of knowledge and partner search and have been very successful since their beginning in 1998.
