The 5th European Biennial Event of Highland Regions will be held on the 17th and 18th October 2013 in the La Bresse-Hohneck resort (Vosges, France) on the subject “Attractiveness of mountain regions“. On this occasion, the Mountain Scientific Committee, set up by the Mountain Chambers of Commerce and Industry, has drafted in 2013 a background document called “Touristic attractiveness as a lever for economic dynamisation of the mountain areas”, which reviews the progress made on the subject in the French massifs.

The 5th European Biennial Event of Highland Regions is free of charge and open to entrepreneurs, researchers, elected representatives, members of governments and institutions from mountain regions from all around Europe.
