Based on the success of its previous editions the CERVIM (Centre for Research, Environmental Sustainability and Advancement of Mountain Viticulture), along with CREA (Center for Research in Viticulture), the Consorzio Tutela del Vino Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG and the Veneto Region are bringing the 5th edition of the International Congress on Mountain and Steep Slope Viticulture with the theme: “Extreme viticulture: values, beauties, alliances, vulnerability” which will take place through March 29th and April 1st of  2017 in Conegliano/Susegana – Italy.

The topics, all related to mountain and steep slope vineyards, will include the following: varietal climate adaptation and agronomic practices; viticulture landscape and its hydrogeology threats; communicative power; management and soil protection in steep slope vineyards; wine tourism, marketing and socioeconomic aspects. This event will underline the importance of social and economic role that mountain viticulture brings in many regions across Europe.

The official languages will be English and Italian also simultaneous translation will be provided during the Conference sessions.

Until 28 February 2017 the registration fee is 250 € (VAT included) and includes attendance to all conference sessions, the technical visits, lunches and gala dinner. Late registration fee, after 28 February 2017: 300 €. Travel and accommodation costs are to be covered by each participant at his/her own expense.
