The 3rd meeting of the Rhône –Alpes 2040 Mountain Council was held on the 27th June 2015 in Saint Andeol de Fourchades (France). This meeting gathered important personalities such as: the President of the Rhône-Alpes Region, the President of the Auvergne Region, the Rhône-Alpes 2040 Mountain Council and the Treasurer of Euromontana, André Marcon, among others. It gave the opportunity to discuss about the access to digital services in mountain areas as a key condition of equality, development and progress.
The Rhône-Alpes 2040 Mountain Council has a twofold objective: on the one hand, it aims at reflecting about the best ways to promote and design appropriate scenarios for living and working in the mountains. And on the other hand, it aims at fostering the Montagne 2040 label as recognition for the good practices implemented that can serve as inspiration to those who want to develop a project in mountain areas.
This time, 42 new projects have received the Montagne 2040 label. If you want to learn about all the 104 projects recognized by this label, please, click in these links: Conseil du 13 décembre 2014; Conseil du 25 juin 2014. (Only available in French)9 July 2015
