Big Foot Project: Local development through intergenerational dialogue in mountain areas

Within the framework of the European Project Bigfoot (Lifelong Learning Programme), the European Association of Elected Representatives from Mountain Regions (AEM) organised, together with the Committee of the Regions, a conference on “Local development through intergenerational dialogue in mountain areas” on the 20th June 2013. This event gathered many representatives of target groups and experts in the intergenerational learning field, as well as some key actors and stakeholders to discuss and analyses different aspects related to the subject. The aim of this conference was to improve the knowledge on intergenerational learning by sharing good practices, stimulating the active participation of the communicators and reinforcing the transfer of professional know-how at all political levels, as well as presenting the new programme “Erasmus for all” of the European Commission.
