BOOM of VISITORS to the 30th Annual Agricultural Exhibition 2014 for Center Italy (RACI)

All ” Farmers for a Day” to rediscover a direct contact with the territory and the land as a source of food, but also as a living space to be preserved. This has been the leitmotiv of the 30th Annual Agricultural Exhibition 2014 for Center Italy (RACI) that has taken place in Macerata on 9-10 and 11 May 2014.

As underlined by the Italian Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Maurizio Martina, in the opening ceremony, the RACI has been a real and first preview to the topics of the Milan “Expo 2015”. A concept taken up also by the President of the Province of Macerata, Mr. Antonio Pettinari, stressing the new partnership RACI-Europe thanks to the presence in the event of the Euromontana’s President, Mr. Juan Andrès Gutiérrez who has made a presentation on the strategic role of mountain areas and products in the new CAP 2014-2020, highlighting the opportunities of the new agricultural policy and the role played by Euromontana at European level.

The Province of Macerata has recently joined Euromontana as member.
