How can rural be inspirational? Choose your favourite project now

The Rural Inspiration Awards recognise inspiring initiatives funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) that demonstrate the contribution of rural development policy towards a more competitive, sustainable and inclusive rural Europe. The Rural Inspiration Awards are the first EU-wide EAFRD competition.

The Awards include five categories:

  1. Improving the competitiveness of rural areas
  2. Environment and climate action
  3. Rural revitalisation
  4. Social inclusion
  5. LEADER

Euromontana was part of the expert jury member who selected one winner per category. The winners will be announced during the event on April 11 – during networkX – Inspiring Rural Europe, the event building on 10 years of rural networking. While we have made our choice, you can also make yours. The sixth winner will be selected by public!

You can vote for one project out of all the 25 shortlisted nominations in 5 categories.  And yes, your choice can make a difference! As we cannot mention all the projects here and also do not want to influence you by mentioning only some of them, we invite you to have a look yourself. We promise that you will not be disappointed.

Vote here now and no later than 11 April at 12.00 (CET time).

The Awards are a unique opportunity to promote the results of Rural Development Plans, boost the project’s visibility and transferability and learn about each other. Rural Inspiration Awards is an initiative of ENRD – European Network for Rural Development.
