The first meeting of the thematic initiative “Youth and Young Farmers in rural areas” will take place on June the 19th at the ENRD Contact Point premises (81 rue du Marteau. 1000 Brussels), from 10:00 to 16:30 indicatively.

The purpose of the meeting is threefold:

  • To take stock of the progress of the worked carried out so far, particularly the collection of examples and information at national level.
  • To reflect upon preliminary findings.
  • To discuss about what should be improved in the next programming period for the implementation of RDPs which are closer to young people’s needs.

The meeting will provide the opportunity to exchange knowledge while learning from ‘on the ground’ experiences in order to inform the policy making process.
