« Comment génerer de la valeur ajoutée à partir des régions de montagne ? »

Les 6èmes assises de la montagne sont organisées par Euromontana, l’association européenne pour les régions
de montagne, en partenariat avec le SAB, le Groupement suisse pour les régions de montagne, et auront lieu à
Brigue, en Suisse. Brigue est la ville alpine de l’année 2008, un atout supplémentaire pour l’organisation des assises.

Cette conférence a pour but de discuter autour des opportunités pour générer de la valeur ajoutée en zones de montagne. Les sessions seront centrées sur les régions de montagne et traiteront des nouvelles politiques
européennes, des conditions politiques favorables au développement de l’innovation et à la compétitivité, de la transformation du secteur industriel, de l’économie montagnarde, du développement de l’esprit d’entreprise et de l’adaptation aux changements climatiques.

Un autre séminaire est organisée à Brigue les 6 et 7 octobre par la Fondation pour le développement durable des
régions de montagne. Les excursions sur le terrain seront organisées conjointement pour les deux manifestations,
entre les deux événements. Du 6 au 10 octobre 2008, ce sera donc la semaine internationale de la montagne !

Les 6èmes assises de la montagne sont possibles grâce au soutien de l’office fédéral de l’agriculture, du canton du
Valais, de la ville de Brigue et de plusieurs autres sponsors.
