As part of the development of the Pyrenean Observatory for Change (OPCC), the Intereg POCTEFA ClimPy project (2016-2019) aims to improve knowledge of climate change in the Pyrenees by developing indicators on extreme events, snow cover and climate projections.

After a first workshop dedicated to databases held in Andorra on 30 January 2018, a second event is planned for 20 and 21 September in Toulouse (on the Météo-France premices) to present the results on indicators and climate change.

This event conducted in the framework of both the OPCC and the AST (Actions Scientifiques Transverses) “Pyrenees” network of the OMP (Observatoire Midi-Pyrénées) combines a purely scientific day on 20 September for the scientific community (online registration) and a youth communication day linked to the Toulouse Rectorate and the ESOF2018 label (Toulouse, Cité Européenne de la Science in 2018).
