European Regions for Innovation in Agriculture, Food and Forestry: Rural Innovation on the move!

In the context of the creation of the European Innovation Partnership on agricultural productivity and sustainability (EIP agriculture), the ERIAFF Network is organizing a European Conference the 2nd of October 2013 in Brussels.slo

The aim of the conference is to know which keys are in the hands of National and Regional Governments to boost the R&I process of the European agriculture and agribusiness.

The conference will also be an opportunity to find some common priority areas between regions where to start concentrating the efforts in order to foster projects of common interest.

The conference will have a technical and a foresight session.

The technical session is organized in two workshops about the following topics:

  • Innovation to face climate challenges
  • Food systems and food safety

The foresight session will be a round table of different regional government representations discussing around the question:

“2014-2020: How to get the best from programming tools and EU funding through interregional collaboration”
