Europe Direct centres played an active role during the European Year of Youth 2022. In Northen Italy, the Local Action Group Prealpi e Dolomiti centre, together with UNCEM Veneto and other stakeholders lauched a series of participatory meetings with younger generations. The final event in Belluno is closing this participatory approach and the European Year of Youth.

The final event will present the findings and recommendations of young people to increase the attractiveness of their territority, to improve the provision or services and to support “youth-driven” initiatives.

The event will also give the floor to representatives of European institutions and to Euromontana. Elena Feo, Project Officer, will present Euromontana’s mountain youth report, published at the beginning of the European Year of Youth, and some inspiring examples of initiatives carried out for and with young people in the mountains.

The event is organised in Belluno in Italian. More information is available on the event webpage.
