La Commission européenne organise la Journée Européenne du Tourisme 2020, qui aura lieu à Bruxelles le 5 mai 2020.

Cette année, la conférence sera axée sur le tourisme et les objectifs de l’UE en matière de climat et de développement durable, sous le thème général : “Le tourisme européen – vers un avenir plus vert”.

L’événement réunira jusqu’à 400 participants, dont des représentants de la Commission européenne et d’autres institutions de l’UE, des représentants de haut niveau des autorités publiques aux niveaux européen, national et régional, des représentants d’associations sectorielles européennes de premier plan et de l’industrie du tourisme et du voyage, des organisations internationales, des universitaires, ainsi que d’autres acteurs concernés.

En outre, la Journée Européenne du Tourisme de cette année accueillera la cérémonie de remise des prix de l’édition 2019 d’EDEN – Destinations Européennes d’Excellence sur le thème “Tourisme de santé et de bien-être”.
