The second edition of the Mountain Business Summit will be held in Tarbes, France, on June 11 and 12, 2019. Taking place at the heart of the Pyrenees, Mountain Business Summit assembles all key players from the mountain industry. For 2 days, professionals will be able to share and promote their expertise with local and international investors and decision-makers though preplanned one-to-one meetings. The original format of this global event, facilitates networking opportunities between the attendees who get to identify each other weeks prior to the event.

The objective of this new edition is to highlight your innovations through 3 thematic areas:

  • Development & Equipment: accessibility, cable transportation, electric vehicle, construction and project management, tourism infrastructure & accommodation etc.
  • Sports & Recreation: outdoor physical activity, alternative to snow sports, cycling, sporting events, tourism & heritage discovery etc.
  • Natural Resources: hydraulic, solar, wood, engineering offices, training, resource and natural resource management, energy transport, energy suppliers, etc.

World-renowned mountain ranges, the Pyrenees are a truly fascinating natural barrier connecting France to Spain and the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. They offer an extraordinary setting for this unprecedented global event.
Tarbes has been chosen as a host city, not only for its location, but also for its strong and dynamic industrial background, and an exemplary ability to adapt to a fast-paced economic and technological globalisation.
A special focus is given to the actions and projects conducted by the cities surrounding the Pyrenees and contributing to the development and protection of the mountain zone.
