Seminar on rural youth migration and employment

The Associació d’iniciatives Rurals de Catalunya (ARCA) and Associazione dei GAL Toscani, Rural Development Council of Northern Ireland and Fundatia Alternative Romania organise the Seminar on rural youth migrations and employment the days 21-24th May 2013 in Solsona (Spain). The main aim of the seminar is to debate and share good practices at European level related to rural youth migrations and employment and define a common proposal to deal with youth unemployment.

On the other side, the seminar also foresees another type of participation: a call for papers. Participants and other organizations/institutions working on these topics are welcomed to handle a paper. Papers should be written following one of the two typologies:

  • Research around the topic of rural youth migrations or rural youth employment.
  • Best practices of projects and programs about rural youth, especially dealing with employment. Please make sure that you include briefly in the description the background, the objectives, the actions done, the results and impacts so far and its added value.

Papers should be done following the Publication rules (see template) and have to be sent to tecnic1@arca-dr.cat.

The deadline to recieve papers has been extended until 17th May

Check the website for more information or contact Gemma Estany per email: tecnic1@arca-dr.cat or calling to 0034 973.48.17.52 ext 8404.
