The 1-2 December 2014 the Stakeholder Conference on the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) will take place in Milan, Italy. The event will mark the conclusion of the extensive stakeholder consultation on the EUSALP.

An effective and forward-looking EUSALP will bring new impetus for cooperation to the benefit of all involved, unlocking the potential of the Alpine Region and contributing to a harmonious and sustainable development in the area.

The event, organised by the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the European Commission and Lombardy Region, will take place in Palazzo Lombardia in Milan. The Foreign Ministers of the Countries involved and the Presidents of the Regions of the Alpine area are invited. The programme includes plenary sessions and workshops devoted to the three pillars of the Strategy.
