In the frame of Expo Milan 2015 “Feeding the planet, Energy for Life” the European Commission is organising a workshop to launch the discussion on how to face the future challenges on European agricultural research and innovation for the coming decades.

This workshop aims at starting the discussion on a long-term vision of the future of EU agriculture research and innovation and at contributing to the dialogue on the outcomes of EXPO Milan 2015 by providing views on agricultural research and innovation priorities.

At the same time, this event will be the first step towards a bigger agricultural research and innovation conference to be held in Brussels at the end of January 2016.

Please, note that the capacity of the European Union Pavilion meeting room is limited, which means that the event will be accessible only to a limited number of selected participants (around 100 people). Nevertheless, a web streaming link will be provided for those interested in following the discussions.

The whole draft programme is available here.
