On January 12th, 2017, the European Commission published its 2017 call for proposals and new programme guidelines for the Promotion of Agricultural Products. The deadline to submit applications is April 20th, 2017. As in 2016, the new programme is divided into two sub-programmes:
- Simple Programmes (AGRI-SIMPLE-2017): With a budget of 85,5 million Euros, the simple programme funds projects by one or more organizations based in EU Member States.
- Multi Programmes (AGRI-MULTI-2017): With a budget of 43 million Euros, the multi programme finances projects finance projects from at least 2 organizations located in at least two Member States or one or more European organizations working together.
As was the case in 2016, mountain products are eligible for the 2017 Promotion Programme, per EU Regulation 1144/2014. We encourage network members to seize this funding opportunity and to contact the Secretariat if they would like to partner with other members of Euromontana or with outside organizations.
