New Operational Programme for INTERREG EUROPE

The new draft of the Operational Programme (OP) for the interregional cooperation programme: INTERREG EUROPE has just been published on 10th January 2014.

This programme aims to enable exchange of experience, knowledge and good practices among relevant stakeholders from different European regions, through 4 thematic objectives:
• Strengthening research, technological development and innovation
• Enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs
• Supporting the shift towards a low-carbon economy in all sectors
• Protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency

Publication consultation up to 21st March 2014
A public consultation is open up to 21st March 2014: all relevant stakeholders throughout Europe, i.e. local, regional and national authorities, economic and social partners as well as bodies representing thematic groupings and civil society, including environmental partners, non-governmental organisations, etc are invited to answer to this consultation, to share their comments on this OP.
