Mountain walk in in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region (France): discover how Cohesion Policy supports Cynthia
In the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region (France), aspirant entrepreneurs can benefit from numerous opportunities thanks to the European Cohesion Policy. Cynthia is an imaginary character created by Montana174 project, whose intention is to showcase real projects financed by the 2014-2020 Cohesion Policy for single mothers who aim to couple their family life with the establishment of their own business.

Four different antennas of the business incubator “Je crée dans ma région” (I create in my region) were set up in several locations of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, including one in Grenoble. These antennas support local entrepreneurs to start their activities in different sectors by providing personalized consultation or/and funding opportunities.
In order to address the increasing number of pupils in the city of Grenoble, the elementary school “Marianne Cohn” was constructed in the Hoche neighbourhood. The school will have 10 classrooms and it will be an energy positive construction, meaning that its energy production will be more elevated than its energy consumption thanks to a combination of bioclimatic design, economical heating, ventilation system, and the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roof.
The Stratexio initiative was born with the aim to accelerate the internationalization of French businesses. To this end, this initiative offers personalized support and a cycle of training to French entrepreneurs, as well as it helps these businessmen to develop their strategy to set up their businesses in other countries. Entrepreneurs that adhere to this initiative can benefit from both group and personal sessions, as well as an e-Learning platform.
