Did you know that about 75% of interviewees think older adults in our regions are not benefiting enough from innovative products and services? (see SILVER SMEs compiled SWOT analysis)

SILVER SMEs partners have already collected 35 good practices throughout Europe! Discover these interesting examples in the good practices database and get inspired to encourage the development of Silver Economy goods and services in other rural and / or mountainous territories!

You will also find the latest interviews with Silver Economy rural entrepreneurs and stakeholders! They have shared their stories and successes and will provide you with a great insight into rural initiatives for older adults, supported at regional level.

Save the date! SILVER SMEs invites you to its second international conference “Business Opportunities linked to Fragile & Vulnerable Ageing Population“, in Zielona Góra, Poland on October 24, 2019. More information will come soon!

About SILVER SMEs

The SILVER SMEs project aims to support regional policies in rural and mountainous areas by enlightening the potential for SMEs to develop new innovative products and services of benefit and joy for a senior population. By supporting the development of new SMEs in the Silver Economy, an intrinsic objective is to stimulate growth and competitiveness of rural areas and mountainous areas. This 5-years Interreg Europe project was launched in June 2018. The project leader is the Spanish province of Teruel, and the other 8 project partners come from Ireland, Slovenia, Portugal, Spain, France, Sweden and Poland.
