Seminar on the Common Agricultural Policy and Mountains

Logo-Final-frA seminar on the Common Agricultural Policy and Mountains will take place on the 10th of July 2014, in Clermont-Ferrand (France). This seminar is organised by our member MACEO, a multisectoral association dealing with sustainable economic development growth in the « Massif central » mountain territory. SUACI Alpes du Nord, the ACAP, the APEM and SIDAMwill also participate in the organisation of the event.

The seminar will address how to make the most of the new CAP’s instruments from mountain stakeholders’ perspective, with special regard to the optional quality term “Mountain Product” (Reg. (EC) 1151/2012). In the morning the tools of the new CAP will be presented, followed by workshops and debates in the afternoon.

This event is part of the new information measure « A new CAP: Mountain of opportunities » coordinated by Euromontana and co-financed by the European Union. Within this framework, 5 seminars will be organised by several Euromontana’s members in Slovenia, Italy, Portugal, Romania and France in order to prepare the final European Conference that will take place at the end of October in Bilbao.
