Welcome to our new member:  the Autonomous Province of Bozen SüdTirol

The Autonomous Province of Bozen SüdTirol has joined Euromontana.

Within the administration of the Autonomous Province of Bozen – Südtirol, the Department of Agriculture sees itself as a customer and partner-oriented public service and administrative organization for agriculture. With its actions, it strives to make the best possible contribution to a competitive, environmentally sound and socially acceptable agriculture. Their most important concerns are comprehensive management as a whole, provision of high-quality foodstuffs as well as structural change of agriculture towards multifunctionality. In this sense, the whole of South Tyrolean agriculture should be developed further, although everything that has proved itself to this day should be maintained.

A special focus of the Department of Agriculture is on mountain farming where most of the state subsidies are concentrated. Additionally, many initiatives for supporting mountain farming are assisted and actively supported.

For this reason, the tasks of the department extend beyond sovereign administrative and supervisory tasks into targeted consultancy services and efficient and effective implementation of agricultural policy. Social and professional competences are the best prerequisites for achieving all of these goals as best as possible.

Euromontana is looking forward to a fruitful collaboration with the Autonomous Province of Bozen Südtirol.
