Perte dramatique de biodiversité, y compris dans les montagnes : Les études scientifiques les plus récentes sont disponibles

Les dernières semaines ont été fructueuses en termes de publications scientifiques et de déclarations politiques sur les tendances dramatiques observées dans les niveaux de biodiversité dans le monde entier. Plusieurs publications ont retenu notre attention, notamment une étude sur les implications de l’Accord de Paris sur le changement climatique pour les zones à biodiversité importante, la toute première étude mondiale des sols demandant une action immédiate pour lutter contre l’érosion des sols, une étude française sur les tendances des populations d’oiseaux dans les zones rurales, et enfin une étude publiée dans la revue Nature par 50 experts scientifiques européens sur l’augmentation accélérée de la richesse en espèces végétales sur les sommets montagneux liée au réchauffement climatique. Ces publications traitent le plus souvent de leur sujet sous un angle territorial large mais, dans cet article, nous allons essayer de voir comment les résultats des études se rapportent aux écosystèmes de montagne.
