Visites d’études à Moûtiers et Val Thorens, dans la région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, en France

Les membres du Comité directeur d’Euromontana se sont retrouvés pour leur réunion les 7 et 8 mars 2018, à Moûtiers en Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, en France. Moûtiers est une commune de moins de 4000 habitants, située à 481 mètres d’altitude, en Tarentaise, dans le département de la Savoie.

Deux visites d’études ont été organisées par Fabrice Pannekoucke, maire de Moûtiers, vice-président du Conseil Régional Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes et membre du Comité directeur d’Euromontana et Geneviève Borodine, à la direction de l’aménagement du territoire et de la montagne au sein de la région. Ainsi, les membres du Comité directeur sont allés visiter la coopérative laitière de Moûtiers, qui produit le fromage AOP (Appellation d’Origine Protégée) du Beaufort et le domaine skiable de Val Thorens au sein des 3 Vallées, la plus haute station de ski d’Europe située à 2300 mètres d’altitude.

Ces visites d’étude ont permis de mieux comprendre les réalités locales et de constater un modèle économique innovant qui permet de maintenir cette région dynamique et attractive.
