Study visits will be organised around the Catalan Pyrenees. Euromontana and NEMOR members will be proposed shorter study visits.

General Assembly of NEMOR (for NEMOR members only).

General Assembly of Euromontana (for Euromontana members only).

DAY 2 - 3 - 4

16 - 17 - 18 October 2024

The 2024 Convention will combine high-level panels, inspiring keynotes and parallel thematic workshops.

Interactive discussions on how to overcome the challenges and seize the opportunities of mountain areas are a staple of the European Mountain Conventions. The programme will feature several interactive workshops aimed at finding solutions to a range of issues. A total of 8 interactive workshops will be organised to collectively find solutions to 4 overarching challenges.

From raw materials to processing: how to bring the secondary sector back into mountain territories?

Towards diversified mountain economies

How to tap into the potential of digitalisation for mountain economies?

How to foster entrepreneurship?

The conference will start on the morning of the 16th and finish on the 18th at midday.

Interpretation in English, French, Catalan, Aranese and Spanish will be provided for all plenary sessions. Limited interpretation will be available for interactive workshops, depending on the needs of each session.
