Concerned about recent statistics, Euromontana calls on the new European Commission to develop a vision for the future of livestock farming and pastoralism in the European Union.
In December 2022, the United Nations adopted a resolution declaring 2025 the International Year of Glacier Conservation, an important step in recognising the urgency to preserve these cornerstone of life on Earth.
Mountain products are still not sufficiently promoted said Euromontana during an event held on 10 April at the European Committee of the Regions.
