Finding the right tools and solutions for adaptation in mountains
As part of the MountResilience project, Euromontana is organising the second session of the Community of Practice on Climate Adaptation, a space created to learn, share, network and influence the policies and practices that will guide our transition towards resilient mountain communities.
This event is the second of a series of thematic webinars that will take place throughout the life of the project and aims to present two digital knowledge platforms designed to support climate change adaptation in mountain areas: the MountResilience Solutions Database and the Adaptation at Altitude Solutions Portal.
The MountResilience Solutions Database, developed within the MountResilience project, focuses primarily on European mountain regions. It offers a user-friendly platform featuring a wide range of climate adaptation solutions and publications, with a particular emphasis on Nature-based Solutions (NBS).
The Adaptation at Altitude Solutions Portal operates globally, showcasing tried and tested climate adaptation solutions from mountain regions around the world. It allows users to explore where these solutions have been implemented and to learn more about successful adaptation strategies from different mountain communities.
Together, these knowledge platforms provide a collection of real-life examples that inspire action and help practitioners develop effective strategies to strengthen climate resilience in mountain regions.
This session will take place online in English on 30 September 2025 from 14:00 to 15:30.
