Euromontana's missions include the promotion of knowledge and good practices exchange from different mountain areas in Europe.
This booklet presents 10 inspiring initiatives from all over Europe (EU and non-EU), collected by Euromontana to promote initiatives that drive change and sustainable transformation in mountain areas.
The brochure covers key issues relevant to sustainable development in Europe’s mountains, from climate risks awareness, climate change adaptation of forests and renewable energy to mobile services for local communities, LEADER initiatives for rural development and the promotion of sustainable agrifoods mountain products among others.
It aims to provide inspiration on practices, ideas or even funding sources, and to encourage their transfer and adaptation in other regions.
