Designing rural policies to meet the transition challenges, RUSTIK project meeting

RUSTIK partners gathered in Parma (Italy) from 16th to 19th of October 2023 for a productive annual project meeting hosted by CREA, the Council for Agricultural Research. One year after the start of the project, the partners had the opportunity to present and reflect on the progress made in all the Work Packages and to plan the next steps for the coming year.

We are thrilled to announce that the Federazione Trentina della Cooperazione (FTC) has recently joined Euromontana! FTC becomes our 64th member, further expanding our network in the Alps. Based in Trento, Italy, FTC is the only representative organisation of the cooperative movement in the province of Trento.

The rural revitalisation platform is out!

The platform gathers information and resources for rural communities facing population loss, ageing and demographic decline. A wide range of stakeholders are invited to use the platform, from regional and local authorities to Local Action Groups, national CAP networks and any rural stakeholders working to revitalise their territory.

The EU to label craft and industrial geographical indications

The European Union institutions have reached an agreement in early May on non-agricultural geographical indications. The protection of European craft and industrial products has been discussed for several years, with reports and studies published from 2015
