In the framework of the Horizon2020 MOVING project, AREPO and oriGIn EU organise a conference in collaboration with Euromontana gathering EU Institutions, Regional governments, Producers of mountain and GI products and EU stakeholders from the agri-food sector, to discuss the new legal framework for EU Quality Products.

What forest model do we want in Europe?

Jointly organised by our member HAZI – Basque Government and USSE, this conference will look at forestry models in Europe, examining their climate resilience, their adaptation to fires and the possibilities for a circular bioeconomy.

Skills for Mountains in Transitions

In 2023, the European Year of Skills, Euromontana intends to focus on the challenges and possible solutions for employment and skills in mountain areas. The conference “Skills for Mountains in Transitions” will explore the difficulties and opportunities in specific economic sectors, as well as solutions for attracting talents to mountain areas.

This event, organised in the framework of the ShepForBio project, will discuss the role of pastoral schools for the conservation of habitats and biodiversity.

Organised in the framework of the SILVER SMEs project, this event aims to explore the challenges of ageing in rural and mountainous areas and to discover how partners have successfully boosted the development of the Silver Economy in response to these challenges.

Forest Innovation Workshop 2023

We are pleased to invite you to the 5th forest innovation workshop, a biennial European initiative which promotes networking and exchanges among the community of forestry and wood industry innovators and actors.

In a context of social, economic and ecological transitions, mountain tourism is faced with multiple challenges. Euromontana is organising a webinar to explore and promote pathways towards more sustainable models. It will be the opportunity to discover inspiring initiatives, and to reflect on the specific challenges and opportunities faced by mountain areas.
