Women move Europe’s mountains
The International Mountain Day 2022, celebrated on 11 December, focused on women. Euromontana and the MOVING project published this booklet to mark the occasion.
The booklet is a compilation of 13 testimonies of women who either live in mountain areas of Europe or work to make them more sustainable and future-oriented.
Their testimonies bring together the voices, narratives and perspectives of women working in different fields that are important for the future of mountains, and who come from different mountain ranges in Europe. This booklet also demonstrates the key role of women in mountain communities and in sustainable mountain development.
