In 2022, 10 years after its first survey, Euromontana publishes a new Europe-wide report on mountain youth. The report brings the voice of 1134 young mountain people aged 18-29 from 18 EU and non-EU countries.
Euromontana has long advocated the creation of the Optional Quality Term “mountain product”. This report provides an overview of the uptake of this label in Europe.
This study aims to better understand the policy framework supporting the circular economy, to explore visions for a circular economy along the mountain forest value chain, to present tools, instruments and processes to improve the circular economy in the forest sector, and to provide examples of experiences and good practices.
This study was carried out by Alice Dos Santos, a former Euromontana trainee, and is a continuation of her work on mountain products at Euromontana.
